A look into our village

Our beautiful countryside village is located in the heart of Surrey Heath. The surrounding area is host to lots of fantastic views, walking trails and things to do.

Our pub is the perfect pit-stop after your dog-walk, stroll around the Windlesham Arboretum or to celebrate your hole-in-one on the golf course. We can’t forget we’re a hop, skip and a jump away from the famous Ascot Racecourse.

 From being mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, to the beautiful Windlesham Manor having been granted to Edward the Confessor in his foundation charter, if you’re looking for heritage, our village has tons.

Windlesham Arboretum

Founded in the 1980s by William Spowers, Windlesham Arboretum is located just south of the M3 junction; just a six-minute drive from us. The Arboretum is an area of natural beauty and features glorious views of history-filled monuments, eye-catching lakes and a rare chapel. Windle Brook of the River Bourne flows through this area, and is a great spot to walk, reflect and enjoy the views of the local area.

Windlesham Golf Club

If you’re looking for your next hole-in-one, Windlesham Golf Club is the place for you; located just off the M3 junction and a four-minute drive from our pub. The club opened for play in 1994, designed by Tommy Horton. The course consists of two full 9-hole courses for a leisurely golfing experience, or to swing your new personal-best on the driving range.
